so after a few months of no posting, I am going to finally be updating my shit.  I've done a lot of photography in the past few months, though not recently, so I'll have to be selective in the stuff I put up here.  I hope my *two* watchers enjoy it!!  it's mostly black and white.......and much better than my previous work I think.

two facets of the question. (1): i seem to be spending all my time lately either in the darkroom, shooting, or else thinking/reading about photo (current book: Roland Barthe's Notes sur la photographie.  pretty interesting shit.  but what about the rest of my classes??  they seem to be falling by the wayside.  maybe that means that photo is my true love?  or else it's just a temporary infatuation.  yes, redundant, i know.  anyways... (2) i'm inching closer and closer to graduation.  don't know how this is happening.  somebody stop the clock!!!  i can't believe it's going to be the end of four years soon.  and time is only speeding by faster

well I finally finished posting the photos from sanibel island.  received lots of good feedback on them, but especially from later (I don't know how to do that icon thingy).  hope y'all enjoy them, me personally, they're a kind of oasis of memory in the middle of gray, cold new york.  soon I will be putting up some new new york photos, which I'm excited to do, as soon as I can scan some in (since I've been using primarily film lately).  it's so annoying not being able to upload them directly, but I am much happier with their quality.  hopefully that transfers!!  that's about it, I'm off to finish my autoportrait assignment....
